Dr Alden Holmes and his ENTIRE staff could not be any kinder, professional, efficient, fast and helpful. They treated my senior father with extreme care and compassion. Dr Holmes was incredibly patient with him and listened intently to all his concerns and even his dad jokes. I am grateful for his professionalism and kindness. I initially chose to see Dr. Holmes because of his good reviews, but I left feeling sad and ugly. Seeing a dermatologist can be a vulnerable experience, and when I shared my concerns, he said I’m asymmetrical. Hearing this didn't help, especially without offering a solution. When I asked about improving the skin under my eyes, he said nothing would help, not even Botox. He didn’t offer any solutions, creams, or retinol. I expected more guidance and support.
Dr. Holmes failed me and anyone suffering with acne. I went in to see him and said I have been struggling with acne for 20 years and don’t know what to do. It’s been hard and I’d like to fix it. He looked me dead in the eyes and said that sounds like you have a lack of self love and it’s something you need to work on in here. *gesturing to his heart* I was stunned. Dr. Holmes is very kind, gentle and thorough. Calmed my fears and took the time to explain everything to me and answer my questions. The best!!!
Dr Holmes is one of the nicest doctors I’ve ever had. He’s so pleasant and patient with his patients. He takes the time to get to know you and your skin concerns and makes you feel reassured in every way! Highly recommend him to all my friends in the providence network!
