This is the WORST 'luxury' apartment I have ever lived. I moved in March of 2013 to a FILTHY apartment that I had to clean myself!! The carpets were never cleaned and it was not painted. I was given a small credit for the 50 hrs of cleaning I had to do. Numerous maintenance repairs had to be made including: my roof leaked into my living room (several times), my tub had to be reglazed, my bathroom sink replaced, bedroom window replaced, and the list goes on. My patio has a hole in it but they threw a rug over that and called ... read more

Wow Alden you were great for a whole six months. Hired a new security service full of young people that don't really ever know what's going on. we've been locked out of the laundry facility at night when the only people representing the building is the guards and was told they aren't allowed to give us the maintenance number since We should already have it. And they weren't going to call either. Thank God a fellow tenant walked by with the number. Although the maintenance guy never came. Then you let go of a great office sta... read more

One year at Pendleton Park was too many! After the first year they raised rent by $80 so be prepared for that, if you think you will get the good tenant discount for resigning a lease agreement you are sadly mistaken. The rent is ridiculously priced considering that your utilities will be out of control. The windows are horrible; you can feel the wind rip through the “windows” and walls. Even with the plastic over them for the winter and summer months (for a/c) there was little, to no change in utilities cost. Not that you s... read more

These buildings will always have big troubles with a management company like KMG PRESTIGE. Communication is just another word here and means nothing. They do not respect or care for their customers, which is BAD BUSINESS! Ask any current occupant about the "economic necessity" that requires KMG PRESTIGE to "TERMINATE ALL EXPIRED AND MONTH-TO-MONTH LEASES." Do yourself and anyone you know, a favor and DO NOT LIVE AT 8100 East Jefferson Avenue Detroit, MI 48214

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. We were unable to see our apartment until the day we moved in. We asked several times and where told that someone still lived in it and it wasn't ready. Then we were told that they don't usually show the apartment until the day the lease is signed. Well, here is the reason they don't show the apartment in advance: The bathroom floors were so water damaged that the flooring was peeling up and exposing the wood underneath. The wood was rotten and th... read more

Ok here goes. My daughter lives here and the insides of the apartments are ok. they are a nice size and have great details. they are right off the water so they have good views too. however the previous ownership let the buildings themselves and the interiors fall apart. the elevator has been broken more than it's been working. you can tell the building used to be beautiful, in the basement there are inlayed ceramic tiles but no one has cared for it for a long time. the good news is that they recently sold/put the building u... read more

Since moving in it seems that there is always something going on outside trying to beautify the place.... I agree with this idea for the summer I want people to drive by my apartment complex and say hey I wanna live there... when friends walk in my apartment and see what was done they wanna stay :) I will tell you I would rather the rent be 1000=1200 that keeps much of the problems out... I did have an apartment in Jackson almost identical that I paid 980 mo for it was a few years newer but almost identical.

They have been fixing things up and the prices are good for what you get. I like my apartment and maintenance is quick to respond to your calls.
