Wonderful place to gather your thoughts, recharge, and spend hours with family! My wife introduced me to Alden Camps 18 years ago and we've been going every year since...and we are encouraged that our 6 children will continue this great tradition years to come.
This place is magical!! Whether it's for my family reunion (10 people!) or a weekend anniversary for two, I am always pampered by the rustic charm with all the comforts of a hotel. And I usually gain weight due to the gourmet food and desserts. Every cabin has a lake view,screened porch and hammock. What more do you need? Five stars every time!
The time at Alden Camps every year is the best time of the year. Rich and I go fishing. This year was the 17th year.
After too long away we went Alden Camps for Mothers Day. As in always the case, everyone had a wonderful time and a great meal. The real treat was to see Martha and Carter again, still the charming and welcoming friends they always have been. A special place that it is a privilege to visit.
It is better than good. Maybe as good as it gets. A home away from home in the Maine countryside with the best food,service,fun and relaxation that is possible,
