First of all, Corey is amazing. People overuse that word, but she honestly is. I tried getting a walk in appointment here four or five times and she answered the phone each time with humor and positive energy every morning at 7am sharp. Word to the wise, be patient, there are a lot of people trying to get in everywhere. Kindness goes a long way. I tried a dozen places and NO ONE is taking new patients in the immediate area. The people are nice and the fillings i got there were good, just wish my dentist didn't tell me to call back here when I needed to get my wisdom tooth removed only to find out they can't do it here. would probably be helpful telling people that instead of wasting half a month of time I could have spent looking somewhere else now I have to wait even longer. When I did call them they said "they could send a referral" I had said "Ok" and then didnt say anything for a minute straight.

Broke a tooth a while back, recently got over an absess. Really need to get this looked at and taken care of. Was told this place takes call ins, if they can, Monday and Thursday. Called today and they don't have any openings because, for some reason, they scheduled training from 11-1 on one of the two days a week they take call ins. I thought this office would be different than the one it's connected to, but no. Edit: 9-1-25: I never did hear anything else from them. I’ve also come to find out that I have periodontal disease. My current dentist confirmed that at the level I’m at, this place definitely would have seen it (ALLEGEDLY 🙃) and should have notified me so I could make a course of action. So, thanks for nothing. Every time I have gone to Alcona Health Center Dental in Alpena, they have been very professional, respectful, and have met my expectations of cleaning, inspections. As for repair work; I haven't needed any yet, so I can't report on that. I greatly recommend their service to any one needing dental treatment.
