Mike’s operation is money driven. They nearly force you to take outpatient counseling course from the people next door, who they claim “are not affiliated.” Oddly enough, mike gives an hour long presentation during one of his “unaffiliated neighbors” day long course. Never ever use this person to do analysis because they will automatically assign the maximum 75 hrs outpatient, which used to be $70 per hour. It’s a racquet and a scam. Mike passed on 6/7/21. I knew him 21 years out of his 50+ years as a counselor. He was a veteran. His evaluations were accurate (as I am a counselor as well), and fair. The world benefited from his life.

I encountered Mike Dalen in 2003. My parents had consulted with an outside attorney whose opinion was that a private evaluation before court proceedings would be beneficial. I was 19 at the time. Our attorney had recommended Mike Dalen. My father accompanied me to the interview. After exchanging greetings, we explained why we had come, making clear that we were privately seeking an evaluation and this was not part of any court order.
