I've used alco recycling for a decade I won't go anywhere else they pay the best they are friendly and they are for a recycling place clean and efficient
They stopped buying "breakage" complaining it was mostly plastic, so now I go to Tung Tai, just a block away.
At 11, the whole place shuts down for 30 minutes. They should have coverage. If you have a contractors license, they are supposed to cash you out the same day. They did not abide by this California Law. Will not go back.
This Alco location always tried to find any way to make your clean metal dirty. A few tiny metal clips in pure aluminum, and they wait for you to unload it before they tell you dirty price only. Been here 3x, cleaned my metals every time, got dirty price every time. I’m done with this place, it’s a rip off, find better options
