A very upstanding company and they really value their customers.
BEWARE! Their prices are absolutely criminal! Due to work schedules and shipping times to get the part in ourselves we decided to have Alco come out and replace our capacitor. We were quoted an $85 service fee OR the price of parts. I know the round about price of a capacitor so we were comfortable with this. Even knowing the price of the part would be inflated.**** showed up, did 15 minutes of work, knocked on my door and said, "go ahead and turn the ** on" and then said "that'll be $480.00 but I went ahead and gave you a 1... read more

I have held a membership with ******** since February/March of 2022 and I entrusted them to be my long-term AC, Heating, and Plumbing company. The annual membership is $150 and it comes with a quarterly maintenance service on AC/Heating and Plumbing. So for a year, I had Alco check and to tell me that all was okay with my AC until around November 2022 when they told me I need a compressor in order to keep my AC unit going. At that time, I didn't have $400+ so I decided to wait until after the new year (2023) to get the compr... read more

After reviewing your records and talking to multiple people in our organization we have come to the conclusion that yes this was a communication issue on both parties. The tech on site should have rescheduled to come back at a time that he could perform a full diagnosis on the system after the start up. This typically take ***** minutes to perform. Called to see about getting my water heater replaced and was told it would be between $2000 to $2500 for the replacement.This is an electric water heater downstairs right by the front door.Two water lines and a power connection. Everything extremely easily accessed Maybe an hour of work at most.This is EXTREMELY overpriced Asked about a pressure valve replacement as that is what is leaking and was quoted over $300 I was stuck with an $85 diagnostic fee (I already knew it was leaking) and a wasted afternoon and still have to ... read more
