I recently watched amanda Cohn's speech about this hospital. Its the worse. A loved one died in the ICU it was filthy..bins overflowing stains on the walls. You could see the doctors underwear because their pants didn't fit them. I'm convinced the made a mistake the dud a blood transfusion and then they died. Anyway I doubt Amanda speech will change anything

Minus 1000 stars for a complete dump of a hospital with angry health workers and angry administration if you want to see a totally 100% crappy hospital then go to Albury hospital. Had an operation in Melbourne and was referred to albury for follow up treatment. Melbourne were purely professional and brilliant at every step. Albury on the other hand has nothing but angry staff angry receptionists and third world rated service and worse so called health professionals. I had shoulder surgery at the Albury base on the 29/10/2025. After my surgery I wasn’t given any instructions in regard to a physio appointment or rehab. I bleed through my bandage in the first day. I called the hospital on the first day in regards to my shoulder being cleaned and putting a new bandage on and all they said to me was I have to wait 2 weeks, For my appointment at the hospital to get it cleaned and removed, the hospital called me Friday and said they are cancelling my wound clinic appointment due to (BUDGET CUT... read more

Arrived at Emergency on Monday night with very high blood pressure ( 236/115 ). The girls at reception double checked it and had me admitted immediately. Staff in the ICU were straight on to it and had it reduced within a few minutes. All the ladies were pleasant, efficient, helpful and extremely professional. When an acceptable BP level was reached and stabilised I was moved to the short stay ward for observation for a few hours.
