I did not have a good experience with this rental company. I rented a duplex for 2 years. Once it was time to move out. They sent me the move out check list with the requirement of paying for a professional steam cleaner and cleaner to clean out the whole house (not just spot cleaned for any stains ) . As well as hire a professional painter and patcher for “damage “ that was wear in tear. From a tenants perspective - Overall great experience with this rental company. They are excellent communicators, very quick with responses and fair decision makers. Compared to other companies they definitely are better in their customer service! They care about the relationship with their tenants (and landlords) and will listen to concerns. I think just ‘disappointed’ is the best way to describe my experience with Alberta Rental Assistance. I moved out meeting all the move out requirements, returned the house in much better condition then it was given to me, and I was still met with friction on the way out the door. Although I did receive my whole security deposit, I was put off by how belittling they are to their clients, unprofessional, and inconsistencies in their communication protocols. I have tried countless times over the span of a week, to contact this company about a duplex rental that I had been very interested in renting for myself, husband and daughter. Every form of contact went completely ignored. I had emailed, texted, called and left voicemails and regardless of my increasing frustration, had always remained professional in my interactions (or lack there of, in my case). I would highly recommend hiring ARAC to find and manage the tenants in your rental properties! Excellent to work with and we saved a lot of money and headaches over the years by leveraging their well-established systems. Our tenants only have good things to say about them as well!
