My husband and i had a great experience at Alberta Dermatology consultants. The staff were very accommodating. Thank you to caitlin for helping me coordinate mine and my husband's appointments so we can be seen in the same day on our trip to Edmonton. She was super patient with me. The nurses and Dr. Wong was super nice and friendly.
After a 18 month wait for an appointment, the 2 minutes that Dr Wong actually spent with me was a huge waste of time. The first Dr (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name) was wonderful. Very kind and explained clearly what he was looking for during the exam. When Dr Wong came in there was no hello, no my name is, no nothing! After a 10 second look, He rudely told me that my concerns were not a dermatology issue and that it was due to my age. I had a pleasant visit here. The clinic was clean, and the staff who assisted me were kind, resourceful, and patient.
You’re only as good as your weakest link. The blonde receptionist wasn’t too impressed that I forgot my health card. Her low key lecture of “bring it every time because we check every visit” and rolling her eyes when I asked if I can call it in … “I guess” … weren’t endearing. The nurses and Dr Wong were professional. I get it, policy and procedures are important, but check your attitude girl.
