Neil Kaplan will justify security racially profiling students and tell you to get over it, and even put the person back in the same assignment after a short suspension. Deplorable behavior
Dealing with verbal abuse in your own residence is difficult, especially when admin and head of security do an “investigation” and keep an abusive security guard that is on tape abusing residents on payroll because quote “it’s hard to keep workers and he has been here for a long time”. Apparently, they aren’t aware of their own policies about student IDs, and are OK with guards yelling and berating resident medical students. The security are very racist and Officer Kaplan is okay with this behavior, they will never ask white students for their IDs, but will yell at Black students. I would advise against living here, which means I would advise against going here and living with this abuse. The security guards also go play basketball and fraternize with students … no rules here I suppose
Terrible management. Some of the other employees, like the custodial staff, are really great people, though.
