I've been going to him for year and have no problems with him! He knows my history well and is easy to talk to, as well as explains conditions and options thoroughly. Scheduling is pretty easy and he or his associates will always follow up with me if my condition requires it. The wait times are sometimes long though.
We know Dr. Albert Shen is a great doctor and his assistant Vivian is another important helper here after so many visits. We will continue visiting Dr. Shen as needed.
Cleckley's classic "Mask of Sanity" is a must read before engaging w/ this guy, as he is truly a psychopath. Superficially he appears calm and collected, but ask him the wrong question and the inner chaos just explodes, exposing the hidden, total insanity. "Death by medical incompetence" is now 3rd leading cause of death in U.S., patients have every right to question a doctor's judgment. Just don't you dare question Shen's judgment -- he could easily become physically violent.
Dr Shen and Miss Amy are very professional!
Horrible experience. We have used him for over a year and have decided to stop seeing him. He's always in a hurry, impatient, and gives misdiagnosis. The office operation is also terrible, making numerous billing mistakes, forgot to send prescriptions, etc.
