Dr. Plaehn is the best surgeon in the world! I would truly not let any other surgeon do my colonoscopies! I will see you in December to drop off your Christmas gift!!!
Went in for a colonoscopy (lower) and was allowed to do so without general anesthesia. I was able to watch the entire process on the screen and it was really an interesting experience. I was in and out of the procedure room in 15 minutes.
Critical renal failure paired with unknown infection, septic and a blast of other challenges. Dr. Ross smoothed over the poor interaction with the Hospitalist who visited inpatient bedside just before him. His knowledge, comforting language and willingness to answers questions was greatly appreciated. Hands down amazing! He was personable and we truly trusted he has patients best interest at the forefront. He even added some humor to lighten things up. Currently still inpatient and hope to remain under his care.
Dr. Ross discussed all my questions both preop. & post-op. Very patient doctor. His staff are equally as great. No hesitation on my part to use them in the future.
I met Dr. Ross for the first time in 2005 after having some trouble. He is a fantastic Doctor. He is skilled, efficient and caring. Dr. Ross gives the impression that you are his only concern, you never feel rushed through an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Albert Ross. Nancy Soper
Dr. Plaehn is a fabulous doctor who has been doing my colonoscopies every three years for many YEARS!! He is personable, highly intelligent, and very funny! If you really want to impress him, be sure to wear U of M clothing, U of M mask, and say “GO BLUE!”. I even had a U of M tattoo put on my lower, lower, lower back just for a surprise for him six years ago. He was impressed!
Good doctor and a nice guy with a great sense of humor! He gave me a feeling of confidence. Obviously very skilled.
Does not take time to explain results of procedures. Brags about how fast he performs colonoscopies/endoscopies. When asked what you what could be done to improve Barrett’s just referred me to a surgeon.
Excellent physician! He takes time to listen and his endoscopy skills are superior.
