Dr. Freedman has taken care of all of our pets for over 35 years. He is a gifted vet who stays informed about all of the advances in veterinary medicine and offers the very best treatment for your pets. The entire staff is competent, compassionate and treats our dogs and cats as the individuals that they are. Our dog, Willie, had an upset stomach and was not feeling or acting himself. Front desk great smile and easy registration. Vet techs skilled AND friendly. Dr. Freedman very experienced and provided time and education as My Charlie is getting older... The vaccination program is a win win. As a matter of fact the whole practice is a win win for owners and pets!
My pets have been coming to Dr. Freedman's Albemarle Veterinary Health Care Center since I was was in 7th grade (I'm an old man now lol) . He and his staff have had some major tasks getting my pooches strong, healthy, and vibrant....and that they are. I have tried other VET practices just to see what is out there.....as you can see, I came back. Great work everybody.....there will be many more of my Rocco's down the road and I look forward to the excellent care you have given my dogs.
When I walk into AVHCC I know my dogs are well loved. My dogs are treated like Queens (and King) when they come in. Yes they are exceptional with the day to day care of your pet, but on my most recent trip with a complicated, life threatening illness that saw my Darcy almost pass, I knew I was at the right place. Her care went above and beyond exceptional! Hemolytic Anemia is over 50% fatal and then to be diagnosed with a massive tumor. The odds were stacked well against my girl. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Whitmore is amazing- my cat loves her, and she has always been able to address all my concerns and questions. If you don't take your pets here, you should start to!
