Highly recommend getting swim lessons from the swim instructors here at this YMCA. Meghan Horton, Meaghan Witten, Andrea, Vanessa, Miles and others were excellent swim instructors for us and now my daughters and wife can swim very well. 3 years ago, my initial review was as follows: Fran Worthington at the front desk is a blessing to this organization and to the members. The whole organization has disrespected me, I am on permanent disability because I have Huntington’s disease. I have earned EVERY single dollar. I get a 1099, which I claim on my taxes every year!
The Eizabeth City NC YMCA is great! A very clean place with a beautiful pool, great exercise equipment, something for all ages! Lots of classes to participate in if you want too, not crowded, friendly staff and great childcare while parents do their thing!
I have only been a few times and it is okay. There's never anyone available to help you to use the machines. I only use the treadmill because that's the only one I figured out on my own on how to use.
