this emergency room should be shut down!!!! the amount of neglect and complete disregard for actual emergencies is insane. In June, I had an extremely negative experience at Albany Medical Center’s ER. I discourage anyone from coming to AMC’s ER for any reason. The facility was filthy and I received really poor care. I sent letters detailing my experience to several county and state oversight agencies. I was impressed: I received calls from investigators from the state within about two weeks, and one of our local elected officials called me to discuss what happened and to apologize.
