I want to thank Dr. Akujo, for giving me the opportunity to live a longer, healthier life. I had surgical procedure" open heart surgery" performed on May 2013, and I can honestly say that I am glad that it was performed by a group of "professional" led by an expert in the field. An extremely talented surgeon, who is compassionate, supportive and thorough in responding to questions from patients and family members. Dr. Akujuo successfully performed on me quintuple bypasses, and helped to guide my complex recovery. It has been 6 months since my surgery, and because of Dr. Akujuo and the Albany Medical Center team (of doctors, nursing staff and therapists) I have continued to grow stronger and more capable day by day. THANKS to Dr. Akujuo I have a new life.
