Nurse practitioner Kayon Forrest-Gongasingh was one of the best providers in the medical field that I have ever dealt with and due to my ongoing illnesses for most of my life, I have seen MANY doctors, nurses, hoapital staff, etc. She spent a very good amount of time listening to my concerns and issues. Really the worst experience I have ever had with a practice. I was told that they only treat endocrinology do not diagnose it. It took 9 months of back and forth and 2 canceled appts to be told this. I would rate a zero if I could.
I have been an Endocrinology patient of Albany Med group for over 20 years. I used to drive almost 2 hours from Poughkeepsie to Albany for my diabetes appointments. My first pregnancy with them was fine. My second pregnancy left me wanting and angry. When I first contacted the office to notify my providers of the new pregnancy, there was 0 communication to my providers and they left my newest appointment to be my 6 month follow-up (typically I see my providers every 3-4 months).
