Since Dr. Carl recently retired (sad but expected since he did a successful spinal surgery for me almost 30 years ago) We met with Dr. Darryl DiRisio and was thrilled with him & full of confidence to have him do the planned surgery!!
A gruff man who comes off abrupt, but does very much want to help you. I've been seeing Dr. Carl as long as I remember, and as a kid I saw him a lot. I used to do all sorts of stuff that would leave my bones broken, from skateboarding to dropping a billiards table on my foot. Dr. Carl will come in, ask you a few questions, then (I assume after he has assesed the issues) proceeds to talk into his recorder. Update on my back issues. Dr Carl was very blunt and not very friendly at all. He didn't have any of my previous info so he had nothing to compare my conditions now with previous visits. Seemed like he didn't want to bother with me.
He has been a great doctor for my whole life . I have oi and he had me since day 1 and just an amazing doctor.
