Dr. Bakst and his staff have provided me w excellent, thorough, and courteous care for a few years. As a former nurse I have high expectation. Dr. Bakst is a grear doctor and takes the time to answer all your questions. A very pleasant man.
Customer service is essential when you are treating people.
My concern is with the appointment scheduling as the process seems to have changed and with the medical assistant who seems to have replaced the nurse. I canceled an appointment due to illness. Before I rescheduled.I received a reminder for a 9AM appt.which I did not schedule.I never schedule appointments before 11AM as I have a condition which causes excess daytime sleep. The appt. had been scheduled without my knowledge. I called to reschedule.and was informed there was nothing available for 8 months. I told her nevermind ... read more
It’s an ok place, only been once or twice, but the self check-in kiosks are ridiculous. I was early to my appointment and by the time I finished at the kiosk I was 10 minutes late and still had to check in at the desk because as the kiosk said “check-in isn’t quite finished, please see check-in desk” really?!?!?! Albany Med is going downhill FAST all to pay the CEO instead of actual employees. Shame on them.
The worst healthcare offered to citizens in the state.. early Nov pediatric referred patient booking in to mid February…. As the patient declines
