I really enjoyed our Check-ups for all five of my kids ranging from ages 4 to 13. I had no problem contacting them to make appointments and I got the appointments scheduled within weeks of calling. Everyone I encountered was sweet and courteous. The waiting times were not too long. Each nurse and doctor was respectful and kind and made my kids feel welcome. Today, my son had an appointment at this location. After checking in, he was drawing on paper when he noticed some pencils scattered on the table. He started collecting them and putting them in a bucket. A nurse saw this and immediately approached me, saying, “You’re just sitting here letting your child make a mess.” She then pointed at the children and said, “These things are not for you to play with.” I was completely shocked by her rude and disrespectful behavior. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Albany Medical Pediatrics. You will never be able to get in touch with your doctor and they might close the location you went to for over a decade with no notice until you try to walk into the old suite. In order to make an appointment you talk to a third party not in the same location as your office. The record keeping is horrific since they migrated their systems. If I could give no stars I would. This is now my second location with Albany Med Pediatric. I am highly disappointed and now working on moving my children to another pediatric care all together. They NEVER answer the phone. If they do the nurses are not empathetic and beyond rude. My son receive his physical over a month ago and they still have yet to send the school the appropriate copy or mail it to my house as they confirmed they would.
