I purchased a 5X8 rug pad. While at the register, the pad was cut, rolled and taped in a back area. I was handed the pad and drove home. I cut the tape and unrolled the pad in the house. I discovered a portion of the pad covered with dirt and/or caked mud. Yes, it will dry. However, this was my first and last experience with Carpet Warehouse. First impressions do make a difference. I'm not impressed!
Although my purchase was a remnant to carpet my stairs, they were very helpful and did an excellent job binding the edges and advising me every step of the way. Great attention to detail, friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend them for their business acumen and professionalism.
Said they moved to 242 wolf rd Alb. Same phone. Glad I called ahead. Very happy with the carpet I bought last year. Installers were knowledgable, courtious, neat, and did a good job. Now going to see them about purchasing a vinyl floor to replace the old one in my laundry room. Looking forward to another satisfied purchase.
had carpet installed and looked great... we did complete basement and a bedroom, over 4,000 $ looked great installers did a great job. However, we are afraid to vacuum because strands pull and we have gaps through out the floor, it has been about 2 years now, and we are ready to replace... we have emailed and with no response...highly do not recommend going there... they clearly do not have a quality product and do not stand by it at all
Albany carpet warehouse is the place to go. I went to acw and delt with the sales manager there i think his name is aaron. Worked with Mike. He was very helpful to find a solution within my budget. Capet was inexpensive, but quality. Install went very smoothly and stretched very well. I'm very happy with my decision and will use these guys again. The guy who wrote how to measure sqft-age doesn't know how to measure carpet. A quality install requires minimal seams, not least sqft. Don't post poor reviews because you're ingnorance makes others appear bad.
Tom was great . He knew what he was talking about and the install was great and went off without a hitch . I will be coming back soon to do the rest of my house . I went to some place in Clifton Park next to Dunkin Donuts and they were cutting carpet in the parking lot and they were not very helpful .
The prices are good, the installer is a crook, though. He will come and measure your job, sell you carpet and pad you don't need. Measure the job yourself, find your own installer. Multiply length by width of the area, divide by nine for square yardage. Double this for pad, it comes in 6 ft. rolls. Don't get ripped off!
The best decision I ever made! The service is excellant. The quality is great. The employees are more than extremely helpful with my ordering needs.
