We are at Alba for happy hour & I would have to say it’s one of the best happy hours in Des Moines!! Buy one, get one free beers, $8 burgers & fries, and $6 appetizers! The atmosphere is easy to talk and great spot for gathering with friends or date night!
The food use to be amazing! Every element of every dish was a wonderful surprise. But something has changed. New chef? The menu items described sound like the old dishes. But when you eat them they are really pretty ordinary tasting. The first couple years I went there I could not believe how fantastic everything was. I have been disappointed everytime for a couple years now. It’s time to find a new restaurant….
Absolutely amazing dining experience 🍷🥩✨. The food was beautifully presented, packed with flavor, and everything tasted fresh and high quality from start to finish. The atmosphere felt upscale but still comfortable and welcoming, making it perfect for date nights, celebrations, or a nice dinner downtown. Staff was attentive without being overbearing and gave great recommendations throughout the meal. Definitely one of the nicer restaurants in the area if you want great food, drinks, and a memorable overall experience.
