RecommendedEverything, especially the double, double sourdough bread! Just wish they'd bring back online ordering for shipping.
Just ate at the Alaskan Sourdough Bakery and while the food was edible, it was far from exceptional. $15 gets you a 3 egg omelette and a coffee. Those must be really small eggs because I never had an omelette dwarfed by a half slice of bread. The “meat” was ham and may have been 1/3 of a cup. They only had strawberry jam that they dole out in a sauce cup upon request. The plastic ware and paper plates appeared clean. What a terrific little place for breakfast or a sandwich. Great sourdough bread, and the baked goods are to die for. Not a lot of seating, but the vibe is outstanding.
This little gem by the bay has *the* best tomato basil soup I have ever had! The grilled cheese in sourdough was pretty delicious as well. I would definitely return!
