About this business

Step into this cabin-like log interior and see the world's largest chocolate waterfall. With the smell of chocolate in the air you may sample the jams and jellies, chocolates and more, while watching the chocolate and fudge production through a 100-foot long window. This is a nice place to find gifts (doesn't everyone like chocolate covered fruits and berries?) and it is right across a parking lot from the Sourdough Mining Company restaurant.

Sight to see The waterfall of chocolate is something else! The front of the store actually is not candy, but gifts and souveniers. They have a large T-Shirt selection (check out the sales). They have (of course) lots of chololate including the signature chocolate covered berry gel things (I forget the exact name, but they are good- you can get a sample). They also sell jelly and syrups of native Alaskan berries. It is worth a stop.

Great! This store is great! They have a chocolate waterfull when you first walk in that is amazing. Half the store is just regular alaskan suviouneers and the other half is the candy they make there. no matter what time you go in you can always see them making the candy and if you have a group you can schedule a tour of the candy making part and see up close how they make it

Great Place to spend an afternoon If you're chocoholic, than this is the place to go! From a 3 story high chocolate waterfall to fresh homemade goodies, Alaska Wildberry offers some of the finest confections in town. During the summer, be sure to check out the Reindeer Park, where you and your little ones can feed the reindeer and enjoy the sounds of nature

Very poor customer service Very disappointed; I should have delivered the basket myself! I ordered a gift basket for Mother's Day 10 days ahead of time and expected it to be delivered on time. They missed the deadline, and were unwilling to do anything to correct it. I will never buy anything from this company again.

Alaskas answer to Willy Wonka Yup- a chocolate waterfall, impressive and so fun! It's Alaskas answer to the Willy Wonka factory sans the Umpa Loompas. The chocolates are the best, just go buy a bag of various treats and it's a surprise in every bite. Will it be boysenberry jelly, nuts, creams? One thing you can be sure of is that it will be wonderful. Aside from the chocolates, AWB also has a selection of reindeer sausage and other meats on the opposite side of the store and some great souveniers and even Beanie Bears! The s... read more

Great place but did not want my business. I recently visited this place during my Alaska vacation. Sure there were nice goodies and gifts but the service was awful. I stood at the counter for about 2 minutes and no one acknowledged me. It was a star on my list when I visited Anchorage. I am glad I saw it, but it was not worth the drive there since I couldn't purchase any of the goodies behind the enticing glass. I would not recommend wasting the time. There are other places to visit with much nicer customer service.

Smells sooo good They can get a bit crowded when the tour busses are there, but this is a fun place to visit. Defiantly a tourist spot, but they have the best candy. You can see the candy being made, and buy only one piece if you want. Well worth it. The chocolate literally melts in your mouth.

Yummmmm I love this place!! If you love chocolate, your going to love it too. When you walk in, the smell of chocolate wraps around you like a hug! They even have a 2 story chocolate falls. You can see the chocolate pouring down into the fountain. They ask you not to touch it though. They make fresh candy on site and you can watch them making it. They always have samples also. I like the selection of gifts and they have shipping available.
