as per last review by alden w.. his trk had many complicated issues and also dealing witha hidden electrical issue . found that he had previuos engine work done and the mechanic at other shop didnt resecure wiring harness proporly and caused wiring harness to lay on exhaust manifold and started shorting out signls to trans.. repaired wiring harness at no extra charge. not only did we warranty transmission .found trans cooler was bad as well. did alot of work on truck .the only extra charges alden w. was charged for was frei... read more

Dec 1, 2020 I took my F250 Ford pick-up to Alaska Transmission & Gear for transmission for repair. The shop promised to rebuild it and quoted $2800.00. My truck sat outside of the shop for 2 weeks until they were ready to work on it, the then shop closed for Christmas through New Years Day. It was not moved into the shop to be worked on for a few days and was told it was ready to go on Jan 8, 2021. Payed cash for a new transmission for a 1995 ford pickup took it for a test ride and it was not shifting right took it back and they said it must be the valve body after they changed it the transmission still didn't shift right so they said it would cost me another 250 dollars for a shift kit and that I would haft to wait because there was paying costumers ahead of me so about two weeks later I just picked my truck up and brand it to Worthington ford they called me back and said it was ready and that it just was 2 quarts lo... read more
