I got to turn on my solar panels on 2 Oct 2024, and I do not regret that I went with Alaska Solar. Their staff was super, and their installation from the solar panels, meter base being moved, and working with CEA to move my overhead power line to my house to underground was uneventful. I would highly recommend going to Alaska Solar if your thinking going solar.
Alaska Solar installed a solar panel array on our roof. I was thoroughly impressed with the team throughout the whole project. Everyone worked hard, with enthusiasm and skill, from the first site visit to the completion of the work. They kept us updated, answered our questions, introduced us to the system, and were always happy to talk about solar power. It was a pleasure to have them around and to know we were in good hands. Great professional crew installed the panels fast and did all the permitting with MoA and Net Metering with Chugach promptly. Started generating electricity and on 10/7/24 developed 12.3 kWh! I requested the panels be moved to the edge of the roof so there wouldn’t be a long stretch of visible conduit running over the roof. I have also decided to move the gutter downspout so it won’t flow under the lower panels. I highly recommend Alaska Solar

I had a very positive experience with Alaska Solar. They calculated my solar panel needs based upon my prior electrical usage. The guys who did the installation were professional and friendly and they were good about giving me a timeline of when everything would get installed.
