So in Oct 2024 I got my Solar, and in Dec 2025 Alaska Solar installed a 30 kwh Franklin battery backup system. Again, I would recommend Alaska Solar and the Franklin battery system. We went with Alaska Solar in 2024. We have a 13kW system with 32 panels. They were very easy to work with, explained everything, gave us cost analyses from every angle you could imagine and obviously use quality equipment. Any time we have a question or an issue they are quick to respond. I couldn't think more highly of Alaska Solar.
Ak Solar staff worked hard to solve the issues with the solalr hardware on my roof and some issues using Starlink. It took some time, but all is well and I appreciate their efforts and their professionalism. Making solar power is a great thing!
AK Solar installed a 10 KW system on my roof in Homer. Everyone from start to finish were very professional. Communication was great, they did what they said they were going to do, and kept me informed during the entire process. Their install crew was working during surprise winter conditions, and they were prepared and worked without complaint.
