Excellent Anchorage Dentist I am so happy I found Alaska Smiles. The office is clean, modern, and the staff is friendly. Very happy with the dentist Dr. Nielsen, such a nice man. I really did not like going to the dentist because of a bad dental visit as a child. I am over it finally and don't mind going to the dentist any longer. If you need a dentist in Anchorage I highly recommend this office.
This is a brief summary of my recent experience with Alaska Smiles (Dr. J******): Prior to 14 Aug I did not have any problems with my Teeth. Dr. J****** recommended I get a crown on tooth #5 and I agreed to it. Between 14 August and 28 October I experienced the following to get the crown completed: - More than 2 months of pain in my mouth. - 7 dentist visits, one to a Endodontist - Maxed out my dental insurance - Paid over $2,000.00 out of my pocket - My back tooth came loose and had to be extracted.
