APU's Outdoor Programs has lots of great gear available for rent with especially good deals as a student. Reservations are simple! The gym also includes a bouldering wall and semester passes are cheap (on sale this first week of October!). The recreation programs are abundant with many different sports and opportunities to pick from throughout the season. I would highly recommend taking advantage them. Be sure to check their Facebook page for up-to-date hours and give them a follow while you're at it.
Knowledgeable staff and inexpensive outdoor equipment rentals! They also offer great trips and clinics for the community.
