RecommendedThanks to Alaska Outdoor Gear for a great experience! We had an Alaknak Tent and Stove, Sat phone and bear fence sent up to Fairbanks for our Caribou hunt last week to the North Slope. Everything arrived just as promised and the gear was in top notch condition. I would highly recommend using them for your next Alaskan adventure!
Went there with no notice looking for a 1 day canoe rental, they had 3 available for the day. The only negative was they all had some seat damage but nothing that would hinder a good time. They were very upfront about the damage and offered us other options. Took 5 minutes, an ID, and a $150 security deposit to rent it, the canoe itself only cost $25 to rent, which is a crazy good price. They have literally everything you could need for any adventure you’re not prepared for. Pack light for Alaska, rent when you arrive!
We rented gear from Alaska Outdoor Gear Rentals and Michelle was so helpful!! The gear was great quality (Sorel, Kavik, etc.) and was extremely warm for -10 to 30F. The process was really simple too. We contacted them and let them know what we needed and our sizes. The gear was at our hotel in Fairbanks before we even landed. The prices were very fair especially when you can pay as much as $700 for extreme cold parkas. When we plan to go back to Alaska or any place cold, we will be contacting them first.
