I had an issue with my off grid generator. Stefan and Michael responded and took the unit to their shop for repairs. They determined that it could be repaired but cautioned me about how much life was left. His due diligence was greatly appreciated and I chose to replace the unit. Working with Brandy, she provided me with a very reasonable price and they were able to have the new unit installed the next day. I highly recommend this company due to their knowledge, skills and professionalism.
If I could give a minus five ⭐️ I would I will never do business with Alaska Diesel Electric again. The company SUCKS! I spent a fortune on repairs and parts, the sent two technicians out numerous times charging me mileage for both guys. Took the generator to Anchorage twice to do the repairs because they didn’t have parts to repair my generator they removed the starter ring gear from my old flywheel and charged me to replace it. We contacted Alaska Diesel for some assistance. I spoke with a worker named Stephen and he agreed to help out to get my generator working since they were in Anchorage, AK and I live in Soldotna, AK. I live 100% off grid and when I spoke with Stephen he told me he would like to talk to the solar guy directly. There was a lot of back and forth between Stephen and my solar guy.
