One of the biggest mistakes I made was switching from Telus to Alarmtek. We had our services installed the beginning of November and the system still does not work. We get the run around from techs and are waiting weeks for appointments. We do not have access to our video surveillance, locked out of the app, and two separate apps are required for the system- but the tech never set them up anyway so they never worked. Alarm Tek is a horrible company. The app on your phone rarely works. You will have to uninstall it and reinstall for it to work like once a week. If you sign a contract with the loan company and want to cancel they say that your financially obligated to pay it even though they guarantee the best equipment. I called the loan place they told me alarm tek can cancel the loan at anytime for faulty equipment. It's a big scam do not go with this company.
