This is one of the coolest places to go to meetings. Very comfortable atmosphere and friendly people.

We came from out of town and the volunteer behind the counter was very friendly and chatted with us until the meeting started. The meeting was good to, it is good to see so many young people trying to get sober.

There is a lot of great sobriety at the club. Like any other private club there are cliches; but, take what you need and leave the rest. Great coffee, good friends, and a lot of people working very hard to keep the place going for newcomers!
The misogyny is out of this world. I went to a meeting at the club and was utterly shocked at the hatred for women that poured out of the podium, by multiple male speakers. What is worse, there were newly sober women from a recovery center present. I have attended hundreds of meetings, all over North America, and I have never witnessed such behavior in AA before. Members of the club appear to be low functioning and backward. There are healthy AA meetings in Grand Junction. Just not at that twisted mess of a club.
