In addition to over 100 weekly mutual aid support meetings, the Alano Club offers other recovery resources, like weekly recovery yoga and mindful meditation classes, monthly seminars on topics like brain chemistry and addiction and relationships and recovery, and regular workshops on topics ranging from recovery advocacy to mindful-based relapse prevention. The Alano Club also hosts large-scale sober social events, like our Recovery Art Walk, Recovery Talent Show and holiday community dinners.

GREAT Information, GREAT people, GREATest meetings!!!!
This Tuesday was my first visit there. And I liked it. I'm hoping to come down every other week and attend other meetings here.
I was a regular at the club in the 80s. Returned to NY to be closer to my family & that went sideways. what was I thinking? Came back up Portland in the throes of relapse. I was excited to see all of the expansive programs available to enhance recovery, hand in hand with traditional AA. Happy to be back & grateful for the club ❤

Hands down, THE NICEST ALANO CLUB in the whole country!! And since it’s Portland, it’s not strictly 12 step either. Beautiful, welcoming, progressive and SUPPORTIVE. Highly recommended.
