I bought two packets of pork ribs which were nice. I also bought breaded chicken but was not informed they were Halal, nor was there any sign to state it too, so they went in the bin, which left me out of pocket. I think you should either inform customers or at least put a sign up. Why have Halal in a traditional English butchers?

I bought some barbecue steak sausages and bacon all of the produce was really tasty i will certainly go back

This place is Going downhill quickly. The Sausages they make instore have gone dreadful recently. Packed full of none-meat fillers that mean they just burst open no matter how you cook them, might as well just buy cheap sausages from supermarkets because these are not butchers quality sausages. The Eggs are awfully pale and cheap quality. Been using this place for years as well. Pointless going here anymore.

My first visit to this place today. It was 50/50. The woman on the meat counter was cheerful chatty and helpful, the bloke there just looked bored and didn't make any effort to be welcoming. The hot pork sandwich couner experience could have been a lot better too. I wasn't heard when I was the only person asking for a sandwich - I wasn't standing there for fun.
