Dr.Strumeyer is my 86 year old father's established urologist, and needs a script written. My father just got out of the hospital after 3 weeks due to a UTI, and erratic blood pressure, he is now home with me, as the hospital discharged him. The erratic blood pressure still persists, I cannot take him to ER as Dr.S's staff indicated due to this, he could faint and is very weak. i went to him for frequent utis and my culture came back negative but i had trace leukocytes, as well as my bladder and kidney ultrasound caused me intense stabbing pain, and he said it was because im skinny. when i asked more questions he was saying im young so i should be fine. i broke down crying in his office because he wouldnt listen to me he said i probably have anxiety, but i was in the er a week later with a uti up to my kidneys but im young so nothing could be wrong with me right?🤷♀️
Excellent doctor, makes you feel like your not just a number.
DO NOT SEE THIS DR IF YOU ARE ILL! PLEASE run in the other direction and find a better urologist. Dr Strumeyer delayed treatment for a patient w bladder cancer which caused unnecessary suffering. The office staff ignored 3 months worth of calls requesting follow-up and actually stated, "We don't know how we dropped the ball." Terrible office and doctor.
I met with the doctor for a routine checkup after some discomfort from a possible hernia. He was very professional, well spoken and quick to answer any possible questions and concerns I had. The appointment was on time and the experience overall was very good.
