My first visit here and I really liked Dr. Stein. The tech that did my cleaning was for some reason in charge of getting my insurance verified. It took her over an hour due to a mistake she repeatedly made. Anyway, after her mistake the visit went well and I would recommend Dr. Stein to anyone looking for a thorough and knowledgeable dentist that has a great disposition.
Went in to get assessment for possible root canal, and he did unneeded procedure. Charged $280.00 and I still had to get root canal a week later. Never discussed price of unneeded procedure. I was shocked when checking out. Went to Southern Endodontics for root canal, and they even stated that the procedure he did was pointless. I see now, he wanted to charge me for unneeded procedure, and then a root canal. He is a crook. His equipment is outdated, only after your money.
