I had the privilege of spending six weeks with Dr. Manevitz as a PA student, and I truly learned so much during my time here. He always took his time with every patient, never rushed a visit, and consistently had their best interests at heart. His teaching provided me with valuable knowledge that I will carry into the rest of my rotations and throughout my career as a PA. Alan Manevitz is a highly skilled psychiatrist; without his help I would not be here today. I now live a happy life with a wife and two children in Hamburg, Germany. When I was living in my sister’s apartment in the East Village he helped me get through the hardest of times. When I wasn’t able to pay him he still kept seeing me for years and never charged me a dime. He cares about his patience and understands their mental psyche. I will be forever grateful to him and eternally indebted. Thank You Alan.
He is non responsive to patients. I really think he cannot handle being a treatment provider. I have asked on a number of occasions for better assistance at finding therapist who will be in network with some insurance.
