Dr. Alan Mallace acted like he could care less! Wanted to push meds and barely discuss anything even though I had questions. I will update the details later as it was traumatic to be so put off by him/them when I waited months to get in and really needed answers. Awful doctor and place! Waste of months of my time and now have to find a new doctor. Shame on them!
I don’t know how Dr. Mallace can have such good reviews. I waited for 3 months for a new patient appointment with him to have him sit with me for about 5 minutes and play off the life ruining symptoms that I’ve been having like they’re a joke, smiling the entire time. Maybe because I’m young. I was told to take blood tests and I’d be contacted when the results came in - I never was. After calling in I was told to take more blood tests and they’d call me back. Been with Dr Mallace for years. He is one of the best!!!
Outstanding bedside manner, truly informed of care options and timely treatments.
Does not listen to concerns.no exam, he might look at hands but that's it. Less than five minutes in the room . I have seen him four times. Each time I just hear "I think the meds are working' and sends another order for my infusions. I was doing better on my last med but I am getting worse on new meds I am not going back
Dr. Mallace is awesome, kind, listens, and knowledgeable. The staff that answer phones are very helpful and kind. The only individual that is not at the level of her colleagues when it comes to customer service is his "physician assistant?" I Believe that is her title. First, I've only met her on the phone, and I've been there several times; THEN she seems irritated with the call and/or questions. Although she accommodates most requests, she certainly doesn't seem happy to do it/happy at all!
Dr. Mallace only saw me the first time for about 5-10 minutes, barely asked any questions, and just drew some blood for labs. After that he just prescribed the medication but didn't really explain the labs, and in follow-up visits even though I asked to schedule with him, they would always be scheduled with his RN. He never bothered to try to talk to me about what I should be doing going forward.
My Husband is a new patient to Dr. Mallace. This Doctor listened to his concerns.
