Hecht...
Dr. Hecht is like the doctor I grew up with in a small town. He is fatherly, thorough, always on time but with time for me. He engendered confidence from the moment I met him. An excellent cardiologist. The only thing he does not do is accept chickens for payment. I love him and his wonderful staff.
He is terrific and very understanding. His receptionist Ruby is fantastic. His answering service is really terrible but I don't think he is aware of it. The service did not seem to know who Hecht was; the very little contact they gave me was rudeness. Their phone crackled and crackled and I never got to say a word; had to call 2 times, after that service hung up on me, and I never got to say what I wanted to say. There are other answering services I'm sure.
Dr. Hecht and his staff saved my life several times - what other praise is worth writing down?
I've been going to Dr. Alan Hecht for over 25 years. He is most knowledgeable and a fantastic Cardiologist.
Saw him for a heart condition for several years during which I had no symptoms and was given no medication. When I started experiencing brief fainting episodes, he took a perfunctory approach to understanding and diagnosing cause. Three months later on vacation I ended up in an ambulance with a ventricular tachycardia episode. I now have an implanted defibrillator device and am on medication. Doctors were surprised that i had not been on medication. I cannot recommend.
Doctor Hecht assisting me for more then 20 years. He is always available to help me and take care of my health in the best way. THANKS my Doctor.
The best, Competent, trustworthy and compassionate. None better.
Dr. Hecht is extremely thorough and knowledgable. I had an excellent visit with him. He gave me a medication to which, he said, there was a possibility of allergy. The following day, I took the medication and adjusted others per his orders. I got very high b/p numbers and phoned his office. What ensued was: "call your primary care"... I did so.. he didn't know what I wanted... They told me to Try Yoga. Calm down. Call a psychiatrist. Bottom line. Absurd. Lost trust. Moving on. Life too short.
