Schroeder came into the exam room, no greeting, just started asking about my visit as he sat at the computer. I started giving details about my problem and halfway through he interrupted me and asks 'Well- what do you want from me?' I was initially shocked at his retort. It's very bad when the patient is made to feel as an inconvenience. If you have no idea of what to do or say to the patient...say that. Can I put a zero- no stars ?? Dr is in a clinic, and his peer sent me to him. I have a complicated issue combining spinal and limb pain. The spinal DR sent me to him for my elbow . During my initial consultation which admittedly was long the Dr interrupts me and states he doesn’t have time to hear me out . I stated I thought I was paying for his time and he emphasized he did not have the time. That is unprofessional and arrogant . Nothing was resolved and I walked out. Try Dr Broyles instead.
He was dismissive and unprofessional. Will never use the bone and joint clinic again due to this doctor
I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and anger by a Physician. Dr Schroeder, 1st visit. I have several orthopedic issues concurrently. I was at the Clinic for another issue the previous day and that Dr's PA was trying to get me in to see Dr Schroeder, while I was already there and in severe pain. An Office person replied "NO Insurance will cover 2 different specialist visits in the same day". That did not sound right to me, but I made an appointment the following day. X-ray was done. Exam thorough. Told me what it could be. 6 weeks of physical therapy. Went back to doctor. Great improvement noted. And his assistant was super friendly.
Both my husband and I have received excellent care from Dr. Shroeder and his staff. We know that we will receive the best care with them.
excellent 5 stars Very personable, professional and pleasant. Very thoughtful and interested in me as a patient to assess my situation and make sure I understood what was wrong with me. Explained follow up care necessary for my best health options and made sure I understood through each phase of the visit. His nursing staff was outstanding as well. Just excellence all around.

I received my first knee replacement surgery with him and after having a second surgery with him and having further complications and problems I transferred from him to Dr. Joseph Broyles. He provided great service but I needed additional service that he could not provide.
Dr. Schroeder and his nurse were prompt and efficient. The exam was very thorough. I felt that he and his nurse were kind, concerned and invested in my care. I will definitely recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic care.
