Horrible staff. Had a medical emergency with my toddler who developed a sudden red spot on her face where her pediatrician said to see a pediatric dermatologist right away as it can grow and affect her vision. Call the main number which leads to the call center and confirmed 3 times they take the insurance. Went to the appointment which is about 35 mins away to be denied because front desk states they don’t take the insurance. Hardly let me speak and listen to what I had to say about the details of my medical history and my symptoms! The visit was short and he was not empathetic at all This is by far the worst interaction experience I had with a doctor. Summit Health corporate takeover seems to have worsened service across the board.
I was his biggest fan… Had hands of gold… What happened? After the “corporate takeover”… Service change IMHO … IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS… MY LAST VISIT FOUR OUT OF SIX BROWN LASER REMOVALS FAILED… THE SHAKEDOWN FOR CASH IS UPFRONT AND BRUTAL… I SAW THE BAD REVIEWS AND COULDN’T BELIEVE IT BEFORE I CAME IN. IT WASN’T THE GUY I KNEW… NOW IT IS… I WON’T BE BACK… I USED TO SING HIS PRAISES
I love the dermatology department staff! Omah and Elise are amazing people and help assist all my needs as well as make my experience at westmed comfortable. Dr. Shliftman is a GREAT provider with on time scheduled appointments and thorough visits. As for then front desk Diana is a sweetheart and really kind. Falsea or Falesea is really intrusive and speaks really loud regarding your appointment details while at the front desk which makes me feel uncomfortable.
