I delayed writing this review out of a sense of fairness. But waiting is over. My wife has Stage IV cancer. She signed up with Alamogordo Home Health Care and began receiving visits from an occupational therapist. She was making progress and getting stronger. Then the visits abruptly stopped with no explanation. Calls and emails to the company have gone unanswered and unreturned. It is horrific the way the company ghosted a patient with cancer. Do not patronize them or you will regret it.
I called for some advice/information regarding my 98 year old MIL. Donna was so kind to talk with me and clearly a very caring hospice nurse. If she is representative of this organization, I would not hesitate to have them care for my loved one.
I have been trying to get care from this agency for about 2 months and still have not had a caregiver. I have had promises to start next Monday and no one shows up and two caregivers have been scheduled for a meet and greet and both of those have canceled. When I called and spoke to the manager, Margaret Hernandez, she gave me a lot of excuses and lip service. This team of people is so amazing!!! They helped my mom and I with my dad. We were so impressed with the care, compassion and help we received!! We really needed too!! Thanks to our Alamogordo Hospice! You are true Angels!!!
