Miami airport is not easy to "navigate" long walks - need to take a MIA train to the rental center.. However the rental experience at the Alamo rent a car was very positive.. I selected the "self service" option . .there was a person to help with the check in process . - however- too many options to choose (Insurance , GPS, Serius XM radio, Fuel, Car seats etc.. - this process can be done during the reservation and can be pre-populated from the customer profile . This was the first time I rented from Alamo and was absolutely delighted with the service. I have used almost every rental agency and have never had an experience that even comes close to this one. The service was quick, the representatives were knowledgeable and kind, and the car was exceptional. In the future, wherever Alamo is available, I will only rent from them.

Rented from Alamo for my first time, am very pleased with their service. The car was clean and the GPS which I also rented was excellent, adjusting the route based on live traffic updates. Picking up the car from one of their airport kiosks was smooth and quick, with no tricks or pushy sales tactics. Returning the car was also quick and easy; I just drove to the drop-off location and they provided a receipt promptly, in less than a minute, with no hassle. We rented a car for a week from Alamo. It was very easy to rent from them. The reason I gave them 1 star, is because the return process was very confusing and because we didn't know what to do, my husband inadvertently placed the key for the vehicle back in his pocket when he shut off the car. I cannot believe that a car rental company would not have more than one key for a vehicle! We would have gladly fed ex'd the key back to Alamo, but they called our home number and left a message that they had already charged us another... read more

The agents here were friendly and helpful when I checked in on the kiosk. Agents at the door directed me to the cars I wanted and I was on the road in minutes. I had checked in and prepaid so I just needed my paperwork printed. Returning the card was a breeze, they had plenty of agents so we did not have to wait but they did not rush us to unload the car. An excellent experience all the way around.
