I made a RSVP for a car originating at FLL. The agent did give me a free upgrade and allowed me to pick from nearly identical cars. Because it was not that well lit, I just picked the one with the FL plates. That turned out to be bad. Upon returning, they "found" a 6 ft scratch on the driver side. I had never noticed this scratch but they said it was enough that it had to be reported. I suspected renting a car at such a large airport would be a challenge, but the transport between the airport and the car rental facility was quite smooth, though it did take some time to travel there. The overall experience was fine. A few more signs on how to find the car rental return area from surface roads other than the interstates would have been helpful.
What an easy experience it was to rent a car after our trip on the Disney ship. Picked up at the terminal and taken straight to Alamo. The sales rep was friendly and helpful. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Dropped the car off at the Orlando airport the next day. Again the Alamo staff was friendly and the drop off took less than 5 minutes. I plan to rent from Alamo again later this year.
I have rented from this location several times. Always in and out quickly, the same goes for returning the vehicle. They couldn't make it any easier.
Great as usual. Have used Alamo for years now always have had great service with no problems . Employees friendly and very helpful.
Alamo is the first place I check for car rental deals. Prices are reasonable. Also no hold/security deposit on credit card. just the amount of rental. Customer service excellent. Use them for Myrtle Beach, SC and Florida
Alamo at Sanford Airport is the ONLY place we will rent vehicles. Tried all the others. Alamo is ethical, hassle free, awesome customer service, and always a great selection of vehicles. They really care about their customers!!
The rental agent was super pushy and not very clear when we asked about an upgrade making it sound like we were getting a good deal. Luckily I read the paperwork throughly and realized it was $400 more than what he made it out to be. When we declined he made me feel that I was making the worse decision ever and would not be happy with what I had pre-booked.
