The folks at the Fort Lauderdale Alamo were outstanding! They were very helpful and most of all understanding. I am an Alamo customer for life.
I used the prepaid skip the line. Very convenient and fast . Return was easy and fast . No issues. No hidden fees or additonal charges. Would highly recommend. Also i joined the Alamo insiders club which saved me more money.

I will not rent Alamo again they don't tell the truth on the car they rent you I hope they call me on this.
Due to work I rent cars on a regular basis and have found Alamo to be the best. I have tried other companies because of special rates but those rates usually come with headaches. Alamo has great rates but best of all is stress free. Very quick rental process, no long lines and staff is always professional. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Extremely unsatisfied. I declined all insurance yet was charged $180 (which was MORE than I paid to rent the car for the week) for insurance upon return. I have talked to two people who said they would send the request on to someone else and I am still waiting to here from anyone. I have been renting cars for 20+ years and have never been charged insurance on the down low EVER until Alamo. Terrible way to do business.
I made a RSVP for a car originating at FLL. The agent did give me a free upgrade and allowed me to pick from nearly identical cars. Because it was not that well lit, I just picked the one with the FL plates. That turned out to be bad. Upon returning, they "found" a 6 ft scratch on the driver side. I had never noticed this scratch but they said it was enough that it had to be reported. Great as usual. Have used Alamo for years now always have had great service with no problems . Employees friendly and very helpful.
The rental agent was super pushy and not very clear when we asked about an upgrade making it sound like we were getting a good deal. Luckily I read the paperwork throughly and realized it was $400 more than what he made it out to be. When we declined he made me feel that I was making the worse decision ever and would not be happy with what I had pre-booked.
