When I called the Bulverde office to schedule an appointment and before I booked the appointment, I verified that my insurance was accepted and was told it was. Therefore, I scheduled an appointment with the office in Bulverde. The receptionist took all my insurance information from me at that time. Dr Julie was great! But cost was outrageous. Beware. If you are a new patient, they don't tell you until after, a $300 dollar "new patient fee" on top of the other costs for the day. A month later received more bills from my visit. I was there maybe 20 minutes. Had a couple spots frozen, and two moles sent for testing, negative. When all said and done it cost me close to 900 bucks out of pocket. This is why i wouldn't go, unless something is super serious. They take advantage of people. Just called and spoke to Tillie and she wasn’t rude but she just wasn’t pleasant. With coming to bulverde and building a clientele, you should have a more personable person answering your phones.
