Rudness, disrespect & unreliability I called Alamo Glass on Friday morning asking a quote for an oval glass table top, size 75 by 48 inches. The employee I was transferred to (unfortunately I did not ask him his name) gave me a quote of 540.71 $ including taxes, for a 3/8 thickness, with standard flat polish edges. For the same size and thickness but with beveled edges it would be 767.01 He also argued that the shape, an oval, was a standard one, since the machine had one standard oval cut. Shoddy work, rude, and not customer centric One of the conditions to the sale of a home I recently purchased was that four windows had to be repaired for fogging. The previous owners hired these clowns to do the repair. Firstly, the windows they repaired all had excess silicon seeping out of the window frames; alot of it (in some cases, as much as 2 tablespoons). They also left writing on one window, which I'll have to climb on the roof of the porch to clean off. And we also found that they repaired the wrong window. There w... read more
