I recently worked with the Alair team to have a custom home built. The project was both unique and detailed and the team did an incredible job. The entire Alair team cares deeply about the people they work with and they are responsive to ensure that everything is done exactly as it should be done. Most importantly, they owned any mistakes by quickly correcting them and ensuring they didn't repeat wherever possible. We were hired as a subcontractor under Alair Homes back in October 2023 and January 2024. There was no dispute about the price or the work completed upon our completion of the project. A month later, when we went to collect on the past-due invoice, we were told our work was involved in a lawsuit and that we would have to wait until it was resolved to get paid. After two years of back-and-forth, this $5,580.00 is still unpaid, with no payment in sight. Save yourself the trouble and don't do work for this company.
