Dr Hina is a very caring doctor. She listens to your concerns. She is very thorough in her exams. She gives you a plan to follow.
Dr. Amin and his team at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI were beyond amazing at every step of my open heart surgery journey. From initial testing/diagnosis, to explaining my condition, to pre-surgery and post-surgery consultations, I was treated with the upmost compassion, respect and professionalism by Dr. Amin and his team. I wouldn't refer anyone to her, because all she does is refer you to someone else. Honestly I can't think of one thing she has taken care of on her own, she rides the coat tails of other Dr's.
I love Dr. Houchin. His experience and interest in healing is obvious and he is kind. I like his professionalism....afterall, he is a doctor, not a plush toy. He has helped me a lot and is sensitive to my condition. Cheers, Dr. Houchin!
Dr Amin is not an ordinary doctor. My father had good care from icu doctors, from the cardiologist that put his stent in, and from the emergeny room doctors at bronson. But this man was exceptional. His only role was to provide a simple opinion, which he did. But for all the doctors, he was the one that was our guide, our support, our source of information, our educator, our caretaker. Dr Amin is simply the best. I think the reviews are spot on! I will add that it is his expectations from the top that make the care I got so good. He is always involved every step of the way and clearly also expects his team to go above and beyond. Even though the team is wonderful, Dr Amin's presence, both directly and indirectly, was clear throughout my stay. He is so funny as well, and wish he wasnt so busy so he could chat with us more!
He doesn’t listen well, constantly seems to be thinking of what he will say next, apparently. He brushes off concerns and has a very hard time answering questions. My minor daughter claimed he was very pushy about a medical procedure with her. He does not have medical product information on hand for requested patient education. He seemed okay at first but now we had to find a new doctor and we found a family doctor in Sturgis. I like Bronson, but I can no longer recommend this practice.
Haven't been to Doctor Jim in some years. I lost three children in a period of four years and he was so concerned as he was/is a great father. He nearly cried when I talked with him. Miss him.
I have read the other reviews and had my heart fixed by Dr Amin who is a briliant and gifted surgeon and a salt of the earth person. I will also add that like the other reviews, i think that God put Dr Amin and Christi together as a team. Some times Dr Amin would call me, sometimes Christi would call me, and same thing after srugery.
